Time, consisting of 1/4" strips of colored glass attached to a steel frame, is installed in front of the only window in a hospital meditation room, so light coming through the window passes through the colored glass and casts the colors around the room. Because people might be there for solace, prayer, contemplation, happiness, thankfulness, or grief, the intention is for this piece to be very quiet and contemplative and have visual interest, changing in depth, but not static nor confrontational.
